I agree...I do not have a clue how he will fare from this point on, however: from this video he seems to have a clue about priorities and he did have a very nice game last Thursday. So I think this was a nice pickup to see how things go...

In spite of pedestrian measurables, Tolzien exhibited that his college skill sets and foundation could transfer promisingly to the NFL in a relatively quicker amount of time.

Because of several probable unique circumstances (the need for more or better players to shore up their special teams - which killed them last year, and the NFL rule change on no longer requiring the game day 46th player to be the 3rd emergency QB), the Chargers may have released a truly promising QB that they otherwise would have kept.

That's why there is all this excitement.
