Is Jim Harbaugh's mistake this year not following the KISS theory?

I'm hungry.
First, how do you know he is installing all the system and not using certain plays.
Second, the playbook has been in the players possession since April.
Third, if the season starts bad and we are out of the race and the season is lost, I say install the whole damn thing and get it out of the way; play Kap with needed (he may turn out to be bad) and get ready for next season.

By the way, I am rooting for the team to win NOW!!!!
They are keeping it simple just giving different looks. JH and Fangio have said they haven't been able to install the whole package because of the LO, that they will get there eventually.

from teh reports we've read its clear he's installing his entire scheme, in other words the 49ers are running 100's of plays in practice to get the system installed

however, we now run the risk of being the jack of all trades master of none, we don't have 15-20 plays we have mastered executing and can use consistently w/ success.

the playbook of harbaugh no doubt is ingenious and will be great for our team long term, however, in this short off-season did it make more sense for harbaugh to pair it down and concentrate his focus on a set of plays that we are excellent at executing and install the rest of his system over time?

Maybe this team will be the master of the traditional WCO? These are professional players and Harbaugh's philosophy is to call more than one play in the huddle with the main play plus two preset audibles (run or pass). If the players can't learn 100 items in one month, then they shouldn't be playing professional football.

Don't forget, there's memorizing the playbook and there's understanding/memorizing the Install or the Game Plan, which was what we had Crabtree do his rookie year and what we had Troy Smith do last year. As long as Alex Smith and the OL know what to do, the can transfer that info to the receivers in the huddle.

I read Fangio said they pretty much installed everything.

The plays are not the problem for the 49ers' offense. It's the way the plays are executed. More plays = more things to work on.

So what if they can't execute the set 25 plays? Should they just run them the rest of the season? Or would it be smart for them to have the ability to expand on things if something else isn't working? this isn't rocket science.

i was pretty clear, perfect the execution of 25-30 plays and expand the playbook as the season moves on.

“We’re still obviously behind from a mental standpoint as far as the whole package being implemented just because of the lost time,” Fangio said. “But we all knew that coming in so that was just something that we had to accept both as coaches and players. We had to learn the whole package in a timely process and we may never get to the whole package this year because of that.”

While they may have gone over the whole package-actually implementing it for games is something else. How things progress will determine how much of it is actually implemented during the season.
I think it is more of a case of not showing all his cards.
NO! Keep it simple is for Singletary/Raye. We all know how that turned out. Stop being lazy. If you are an NFL offensive coach, then you should know enough about the system you are running to teach it to your players. Stop taking short cuts.
ray/dingleberry ran the same stupid plays in the same order

what u state isn't remotely the same as what i'm saying. we might suffer from paralysis by over analysis in the beginning of the season due to the shortened time frame
