I hope this is the way it shakes out but add the UDFA NT (Siavili?), and McBLT to the PS, Put williams on the roster and cut McCown. He will be available during the regular season if we need him. He wouldnt get any reps anyways and Mc BLT can run the scout offense.

Omon is in his 4th year I believe. Don't think he's PS eligible.

Kicker, punters and long snappers should not be counted against the 53 man roster.

Lol, if they wanted that to be the case, they could just make it so rosters are 56...for all we know they want rosters to be 50 but make it 53 for just that reason.

Has Applewhite really impressed at all? Perhaps it's worth keeping Omon on the active roster over him and then I. Williams could be that 8th practice squad spot- esp. with only one true nose on the 53.

Ian Williams on the practice squad would be risky.

This a good idea. Especially if the season is extended to 18 games. Which would be great.

If players where concerned about wearing out and getting injured, include a rule that provides for players to be allowed to suit up for only 14 games, even 12 games: Excluding the play-offs.

Keep the salary cap the same. Keep the minimum salary the same. Hopefully it would keep the ridiculous salaries being paid at the top end in check; it's not as if the top palyers don't make enough. And it is a "team" sport, after all.

Of course the players union would never agree to it, without a renegotiation.

I don't understand the rule that says only a certain amount of your 53 guys can suit up each game. Why not allow all to dress?
