Ill take my chances. He SUCKS

Such an eloquent contribution...

Care to elaborate?
I will.

He lacks agility. He wears giant shoulder pads that limit his ability to get his hands above his head. He completely whiffed on many lead blocks last year. He's not a good special teams player. He's 1 year older and slower.

Good enough?

Norris' ability to lead block seems at least partially nullified that the defense can expect it when he's on the field.

My post really had little to do with Norris. I was hoping that a very juvenile sounding post had something more behind it than "he sucks."

As to Norris; I expect the 49ers to keep both Miller and Norris, and, of course, Dixon. Norris certainly has his limitations and he did not play all that well last season. However, I believe we can take that one pass to him last night, which was typical WCO, which he executed well, to indicate JH is expanding his role and raising expectations. If Norris can respond, he will stay the year. If not, as soon as Miller can get up to speed on reading and hitting the correct blocking target, Norris may find himself a mid-season cut. For now, I don't see him as a cut.
Snyder. If it can be confirmed that Wragge played RG in the first quarter against San Diego, he might take Snyder's place as first interior line backup. He has center experience. It's quite probable the Wragge played better than Snyder this preseason, albeit against lesser competition. Goodwin's slow promotion may say more about him than Snyder. Snyder might then be cut in favor of not exposing a young player to the PS.

His screen pass reception helped his chances last night. If he can do that regularly it will eliminate the obvious.
Colin Kaepernick.

Reuland is gone.....that was one of my surprise cuts.......

If Norris is our starting FB for this year we are in trouble. He has zero pass catching skills, which is super important in the WCO. People always want a rookie qb playing but we can't put in a rookie FB, even if its a new position to him? I'd be really suprised if Norris makes the team let alone starts. Total waste of a roster spot.

Cut Norris. Use Dixon and Miller as FBs. Dixon can play both HB/FB.

Called it.
Norris will be gone after bye week

Hope so
I'm really upset about Adams being cut. If he's not healthy he could have been put on PUP right? If he is, he's 10X the player Colin Jones is.
