The 49er offense the past two years has been less than HS level. Harbaugh, OTOH, brings an effective and diversified system that has been not only proven to work, but that players love to play in.
I'm not sure this team has 8-win talent on it but I do know that the offense is going to be a lot more fun to watch.
we had 8 win talent last year with a hs offense. heck we won 7 and left a few more on the table. we could have won 10 games last year with a little offense and some good coaching. i say we win atleast 9 this year and im betting 10-6 is where we finish up at.
Much easier schedule last season.
what you talking about willis? we played 8 playoff teams last year(half our games) and the first 5 were all playoff teams which was brutal. and the reason for the 0-5 start that was impossible to overcome.
this year we play against 5 playoff teams and one of those playoff teams is sea. this years schedule is much, much easier and it doesnt start out with a mountain of 5 playoff teams in our way.
bad argument!!!
Yes, last year started out tough. However, after the first 5, it was much easier. This year Detroit will be a wild card contender if not division winner. The Ram defense along with a more experienced Bradford, will make them NFC West winner. TB will be a wild card if not division winner. AZ, though Kolb is over-rated by some, will be more difficult than last season. Seahawks added a Pro Bowl-level receiver with Rice, along with other talent. The only "breathers" on this year's schedule will be the Bengals and the Redskins, and possibly the Browns if McCoy is not able to continue to show well. I could easily see this year start off 2-4 or even 1-5 if we don't beat Seattle @ home - no sure thing given that Seattle is working the same system while we are still learning.
I hope I am being too pessimistic but I don't think so.
all of your post is pure speculation and bad speculations at that! det the division winner over the pack?

the rams nfc west champs?

tb over the saints for div winner?

seahawks have a new qb(jackson

) so he has to learn the system just like alex!
maybe the worst post i have ever read!
Everything is speculation at this point. I am quite optimistic myself, but who knows?
But if that was the worst post you have ever read, I can only shake my head in disbelief. Stick around, after a while posts like that won't even register on the Richter Scale! DJ has his opinion, you don't agree. Doesn't make it a bad post.
