I think that Harbaugh has been trying very hard to not show his hand so far...at least I hope that's the case, He seems like the crafty chessplayer type headcoach. I pray that the preseason showing that has been displayed does not spill over to the regular season, especially game one...I want to see Carrol get beaten down in week one!

Yeah, he's got a cannon, but I want to see him hit recievers in stride.

I wouldn't mind seeing him throw to a receiver that he hasn't stared down. He needs a lot of work still, but he looks to have potential.

my optimism for kap is slowly fading. he definitely needs at least 2 years of grooming before he can start

My feelings about him from the start were that he would need a couple of years under a good qb coach to be an NFL qb. Incidentally, that is the same thing I thought about Smith and Rodgers in 2005.

Im starting to think we might be drafting another QB very high again next year.

I'm thinking the same thing. If the season goes the way I think it will, we will be drafting near the top of the draft again and our major holes will be NT, CB, and QB (again).

The only way I see that not happening is if Kaep can demonstrate he will be the future. I have not seen anything so far that would make me believe that. Most of us assume that Alex won't play the full season, so we will see Kaep in action sometime this year. He better take full advantage of those snaps or he could be 2nd string behind another rookie (Luck, Jones, Barkley) next year.
