I bleed 49er red and gold but I think on paper Seattle has a solid Offense:

Wr: Mike williams, Sidney Rice, Obamanu, Tate

Te: John Carlson, Chris Baker,

RB: Lynch, Forsett, Leon Washington

Comapred to 49ers :

Wr: Edwards, Crabtree, Morgan, Ginn

Te: Davis, Walker

RB: Gore, Dixon, Hunter

To me it goes like this :

WR Seattle has a slight Edge because they have gotten production from their #3 and #4

TE 49ers win this hands down

RB: Gore is the better Starter BUT overall depth goes to Seattle.

Overall its about the same so it comes down to QB play. Would you rather have Alex or Tavaris at QB?
well, we still have anthony davis at RT......

dont forget Zach Miller in SEATTLE, damn seachickens. I heard they may package Carlson.

No way Seattle has better skill position players. The 49ers have potential pro bowlers all over in Gore, Davis, Edwards and Crabtree.

Having a top 5 back in Gore trumps anything Sea has

Williams and Rice are good but they aren't Edwards good, Crabs has alot of potential.

TE isn't even worth discussing

I think we have them in the OL as well

T.Jackson is one of the few QBs in the league I would have backing up Alex Smith. I was very excited when they took him over Hasselbeck.
Oline:
1. STL 2. SF 3. SEA 4. AZ - I think our lineup can compete with STL
HB:
1. STL 2. SF 3. SEA 4. AZ - edge goes to Jackson since Frank has been missing some time
WR/TE:
1. SF 2. SEA 3. AZ 4. STL - Davis, Edwards and Crabs you gotta like those 3. SEA now has some firepower with Sidney Rice and Zack Miller, Mike Williams was decent last season. Fitz is the best of the bunch but as a whole, theyre my #3. STL has talent but who will stay healthy and step up?

Total:
1. SF 5
2. STL 6
3. SEA 8
4. AZ 11

QB: honestly = toss IMHO.. Bradford probably the most consistent but still has alot to prove, Alex Smith had the best rating, Kolb has alot of expectations, and if TJ can play like he did when he took MIN to the playoffs the seahawks will be tough.

Relax bro, I never said they had better skill players. I compared them as a group by group. Edwards is the best Receiver outside of Fitzgerald in the division. I was looking at them as a group and I think as a group their WR are slightly better than our based on what I saw last year. If Morgan flourishes as a #3 and Ginn can cath the ball and make plays at #4 49ers group will be better.

Gore is argubly the best back in the NFC west (Rams fans c'mon down) However Davis and hunter are unproven in the regular season. Thats why I said depth goes to Seattle. I didnt say they were better.

TE doesnt need mentioning even with Zack Miller

O-line- 49ers are better with the signing of Goodwin and hopefully the benching of Rachal for Snyder.

QB-LOL ok Alex wins this one

Has got to be the 9ers!!!!

WR - Edwards, Crabtree, Morgan, Ginn and Ron Johnson

TE - Vernon Davis and D. Walker - The best TE in the West = Advantage 9ers

RB - Gore, Dixon and Hunter - Gore by far is the best in the West = Advantage 9ers

O-line - Staley, Iupati, Goodwin, Snyder (Yes Snyder, not Rachal) and Davis - Pro Bowl Center, future Pro Bowl LG - I honestly can't think of a better O-line in the West (on paper) than our very own = IMO Advantage 9ers, until somebody proves me wrong.

Sam Bradford is the best QB in the West.

May I ask why it is minus QB? Just seems pointless to me. And I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just curious as to why.
It's minus the QB because Smith is a minus.

Because two teams will have new starters at QB and Smith has to learn a new offense again. So clearly the best (I guess) would be Sam Bradford.
AZ and Seattle are about equal imo.

Fitz, Doucet, Todd Heap, & Beanie Wells are about as good a combination as Williams, Rice, Carlson, & Lynch, if not better.

And I love how this thread throws out the most important position in an offense just because its our weakest point.
