Sure, Steve Young would win one for us 5 years later. This was the end of the Montana era though. Honestly, if he had not gone down, and if Craig had not fumbled....that's three, maybe even four more Super Bowls in the 90's.

Favre, that was a good game gone bad, all we needed to do was push the wr out of bounds, there was no force out rule. That also cost us the playoffs that year.

yea, for me it was the game roger craig fumbled too..still i will always say "cat fish" should a been in the Hall of Fame first year of eligibility..when i first read the subject i thought you meant what 49er (player) loss has upset me the most (cause all the losses these past few hours) in the past... i was gonna say (t) 1st. joe montana to K.C and when we lost B.Y on that horrible monday night home game B. Young 97 awsome person but thats another story sorry im a noob..also when we lost to dallas in those nfc champ game(s) thats why when t.o stood on the star i was kinda happy (never like dallas)
