Me too, man. I do hope we get an OL and CB... but honestly - I believe in Harbaugh's coaching talent.

Look what he did at Stanford. It took a few years, but damn he made them good. I never thought he'd suddenly turn us into SB Champs his first year.

Even if we get Nnamdi, we still need to win on the field..

We never get anyone worthwhile in the offseason. We seem to think that the pieces we have are good enough year in and year out and get the same crap result.

Garbage in, garbage out. Why doesn't the front office ever see this?
Honestly I'm more upset we didn't sign Joseph.

I'd love to have Aso but I'd be worried about tying up so much money in one guy. If he gets hurt you're screwed. I know that's a weird way of thinking about it but I'd rather have a guy like Joseph who would probably cost a good 5 million less per year but would be pretty good in his own right.

Looks like the Jets will sign Asomugha now and we'll be left with scraps after releasing Nate. A weak position getting weaker isn't a good thing.
should of broke out the helicopter
There has to be a plan in place, right? I mean if you release your "best" CB today....there HAS to be a plan.....right????[/u]

All talk, no action. I would be very surprised if they get Nnamdi Askformore. I'm sure he wants a ton of money. They could probably finagle it. I don't really know how close this team is to contending. Everytime we get optimistic, we get burned.
The way this offseason is going I wish we could go back to the lockout I mean we havent made a meaningful improvement yet, we've been in a s**t ton of talks but nothing yet, while everyone in our division has made significant moves...WTH!
"talks" with Nnamdi, Kruetz, make those happen then stop talking and start playing some football......
Jonas Jennings
Antonio Bryant
Larry Allen
Isaac Bruce
Nate Clements
Barry Simms
Takeo Spikes
Justin Smith

...and a number of other FAs who did not make significant contributions. Not a great track record but it shows a willingness to bring in FAs over the years.

Asomugha is going to get paid more than Joseph. Maybe it's me but this is an insane amount of money:

AdamSchefter Adam Schefter
RT @McClain_on_NFL: J Joseph gets 5 years, $48.75 million and $23.5 guaranteed, including $12.5 signing bonus, from Houston.

I think it's the "wait and see who falls to us then claim they were the targets the whole time" plan.
who cares if we're involved in all these talks. nothing positive is happening as a result of these talks. for the most part it seems as if the front office is being told to kick rocks.

except from a kicker and a practice squad qb
