I voted scheme. I too am excited to see what Clements can do this year under Fangio's scheme. Fangio was a long-time assistant to Green Bay DC Dom Capers who uses a lot of bump and run press coverage.

Our vanilla gameplan, especially on passing downs.

You can't do much with scheme if you can't pressure the opposing QB.

Scheme, talent, I don't care.
The opposing QB could sit back, smoke a blunt, dance a jig, and then look through his progression.
It is absolutely ridiculous how much time they had. Whenever we needed a sack - when we really needed one - we never had enough pressure.
More pressure = better DBs too. Yes, I said it.

We have no pass rush besides LaBoy. This has been our problem for the last decade.

Manusky made it clear that he had the shackles on throughout the Singletary era. The talent is there all we need is a cornerback and someone to step up as a pass rusher. I think the pass rusher is on the roster, the cornerback is another story.
