i think that manny lawson is the one to come back and franklin will leave. Franklin is just way too expensive and we have suitable alternatives at NT.

I dont think Haralson makes the team

I figure the first thing we are going to look for in FA is a corner to compete with clements and spencer for #1 and #2 spots. i think Brock wont make the team

I like the Thadeus Gibson. he has a high ceiling and we were lucky to snag him from the steelers last season. i think he will be starting at an OLB spot over a FA

i believe if we can keep eric heitmann healthy than we could move baas back into rachal's spot and have rachal come in on rotations. because rachal is good and strong but he gets tired fast. but i believe we will have one of the top 5 offensive lines in the league next year and they are still pretty damn young

I also say that Bowman beats out Spikes because he is younger and can take more downs and takeo spikes comes in as a nickelback where he can make outstanding plays while he has alot of energy

Also what about CJ SPillman??? haha he is the best special teamer in the league

instead of tukuafu at defensive end id rather see Bruce miller there and have Sopoaga in at fullback because singletary had him running fullback at practices all last season and was thinking about moving him in because he is a guy that loves contact and he can move fast. hopefully leach may be able to fall into our hands

i love the receiving core..but i hope in the next draft we take wide receiver high up who can be a playmaker

Moran Norris won't make the team, and you listed Britt miller as backup fullback? isn't he in saint louis or somewhere?

Also, Snyder will be starting Chilo will be backup.

If you get Dixon, he would be the #2 qb with Kaepernick as the developmental 3rd stringer.

Ginn will make the team, his salary is fair and he can stretch the field.

I like Baas resigning at center.

I think Barry Sims will sign a two year contract and be the primary back up at LT.

how long will sopoaga stick around? He doesn't do any one thing well.. he is just consistently average, is that good enough to stick around? or was the problem our previous Defensive coordinators?

Put Lawson back in instead of Gilberry and you're pretty close. I think we are going to have to pick up another DL somewhere though. It doesn't look like Franklin is coming back to me. He is going to be a hot UFA and it seems like he doesn't want to be here. If not, let him go.

The tough thing is with this lockout no way for the coaching staff to properly evaluate the talent on the team. So they can't pinpoint if Sopoaga needs to be coached up or is just average. They might end up stuck with certain guys that they would have let go in a normal off season.

yeah, it's a bit depressing, we could have had some interesting F.A pickups, now we may field most of the same defensive starters..

I'd rather have Barry Sims on the squad than some of the rookies. Boone as the only Tackle backup? Ouch!

They have spent weeks in the film room trying to answer those questions...hope it works.

It would be nice to get sims to backup again but i could see a FA veteran coming in as well.
