Surely Leo Nomellini has to be mentioned here?

Leo "The Lion" is first team All-Time Niners defense without a doubt. He is in the Hall of Fame. He played every game for fourteen seasons - 174 regular season games - and 266 total NFL games. He played in 10 Pro Bowls and was named All-NFL seven times - three times on offense and four times on defense. He was named to the the NFL's All-Time team as a Defensive Tackle. He is the best defensive lineman to ever play for the 49ers and no one else is close. Leaving Nomellini off the 49ers All-Time defense would be like leaving Christy Matthewson off the Giant's all-time pitching staff.

DL
Charles Haley, Fred Dean, Michael Carter, Bryant Young-backed up by Cedrick Hardman

LB
Patrick Willis, Keena Turner, Dave Wilcox-backed up Bill Romanowski

DB
Eric Wright, Jimmy Johnson, Ronnie Lott, Merton Hanks-Backed by Dieon Sanders.
Note: I choose Jimmy because he was a better all around corner than Dione who was strictly a cover guy and good teams like the niners found ways to neutralize him. Merton-well I like the chicken dance

Wow bro really Deion to back up someone Due was hands down the greatest cover corner ever

I saw Sanders play, but never saw Johnson. The guy is in the HoF and has been described as the best corner ever to play the game. That's Johnson, not Sanders.
