I agree. But I did LOL at this comment...

"LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell may have gone first in the first 2007 draft, but at the Official Re-Draft his phone never rings."
The Broncos scored that year.
1. Rick Riley is so hit or miss as a writer. Not as bad as Peter King, but he recycles his writing often.

2. He has Santonio Holmes at #6, where the 49ers drafted that year. So, we're just going to ignore all the behavior problems Santonio has had since being drafted?

3. He has Jahri Evans at #7. A friggin' guard at #7. A guard that plays for a team that passes the ball 8 times out of 10. Um no.

4. He has Devin Hester over Greg Jennings. Wake me up when Hester becomes a top-10 receiver.

5. Brandon Marshall is way too low.
wtf

Right....because Mercedes Lewis is tied with Gates for the single season tight end TD record...dips**t.

If Davis went to the Pats, this clown would be slobbing his knob.

Never trust someone named Reilly.
Well, I have seen that article a few days before and it is beyond stupid. Of course, the ratings of most of the players is seriously off, but there is something even worse than that, because:

You guys haven´t even mentioned the worst part of this stupid article: The way he calculates draft success. He gives points to the franchises based on how far the players are removed from their original draft position. For example, if you drafted a player first overall and the player falls to 30th in the Re-Draft, you lose 29 points. If a player drafted 153th gets drafted 3rd overall in the Re-Draft you gain 150 points.

Even if you dismiss the shaky reasoning behind this methodogly, Reilly then tries to "prove" which teams draft well and which do not. But those rankings are so fabricated it is not even funny.

For example: Take the Packers, who get 264 positive points, which puts them third overall. Impressive, no? Too bad most of those points, 163 to be exact, come from a single player in the 2007 who gets way overdrafted in Reillys Re-Draft, because it is K Mason Crosby, who jumps 163 spots to get drafted...in the first round!!!

That´s right, Reillys stupid Re-Draft gives the Packers high marks because he inflated their score by re-drafting a FRIKKING KICKER IN THE FIRST ROUND!!!

I´m sorry, but I lost it right there
Vernon would go before we picked him if we did that draft over.
Click the tabs guys it's a redo from 2006, 2007, 2008 and look at the team totals for best value. Apparently we are 2nd to last with a -323 value. I think they did it with all round but would have been nice to see where they ranked the other guys outside the 1st round. Hard to believe they would put Lawson as the 99th best player from 2006.
This is ridiculous. Why would Mercedes Lewis go before Vernon Davis? Why? I would like a statistic to prove this should have been.

John C Reilly?
I emailed him a few days ago asking why he would put Lewis or Vernon and showed him both of their stats. Also told him that Balmer was not drafted by Seattle.
