He reminds me of Vernon Davis. Just out of curiosity, Has anyone heard if Aldon is happy about coming to the 9ers?

He looks like it and he got drafted about 4 spots ahead of where people said he was going, so the extra millions should make up for it if he isn't.

from his interview on KNBR last night he sounded stoked. He said he had good talks with Harbaugh and Baalke when he was here (about a month ago). I think it was Murph talkin to him and Murph told him how Aldon broke Justin Smiths single season sack record at Mizzou and he's gonna want to run Aldon into the ground. Aldon laughed and said he was ready for everything.

People look too far into a player's favorite team growing up, you might be a cowboys fan as a kid but when you become a part of an organization this is YOUR team. You become a part of this community. It does help that they also are paying you millions but still.
I compare things to hockey a lot but still, I know that a lot of players root for canadian teams growing up since that's where most of them come from, but once they're drafted they become a fan of wherever they end up.
Otherwise a good majority of players would hold out until the cowboys can sign them and there'd be no point to a draft and the NFL would suck to watch.
