Lmao @ Kwame killing the momentum of your piece... clever. Well played, Diego.

Pretty good but Balmer is also an F. Don't see how he was any better of a pick then Woods. Woods even played for us a little bit longer. Rumph is close to an F and Kwame is a D minus.

You do yourself an injustice where you say you only reflect how they turned out, not how they looked at the time. Actually you do both, and in a very balanced fashion.
More to come, presumably?

I'll always take the opinion of Mr. Walsh seriously, but I think the fact that Balmer is still in the league getting significant playing time and the fact the he may still break out and fulfill his potential to some degree are enough to keep me from giving him an F. JMHO.
@AB83 I couldn't decide which forum to post it on

thanks, I do like to do my research when writing a piece. I think I tried to give some background on each player but I wasn't basing my grade on how good they were in college and coming into the NFL, but you're right I do reflect on both.
And yes more to come later this week, just before the draft is everything goes well

thank you all for the feedback

Nice breakdown's. I don't know how Balmer and Rumph aren't f's. Rumph was just the worst DB i've ever seen and Balmer quit on the team.
I'd be interested to see what you have for Staley. Who really hasn't lived up to his billing.

Nice article! I thought Rumph and Smith were D's though. The 49ers really need to string together a few good drafts to become competitive.
