I dont think anybody can make predictions without having a clue about who our quarterback is.

I heard on NFL whisper that if the Niners aren't able to settle their QB situation by August, Harbaugh will suit up and be the Niners 2011 signal caller. Truth!

P.S. I dont feel very good about this season. The odds are stacked against us.

This is exactly what I posted about in the prediction thread. We don't even have a QB other than Carr on the roster. How can you be excited or optimistic at this point

stop making sense! CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

16-0 it is
I wonder what Alex Smith is thinking looking at the schedule.
Also we get sweet revenge on the Carrol and the Seahawks week 1!
When was the last time we had a non division season opening game? I don 't like the fact that we start off right away with a crucial division game. Let us get our feet wet first.

Baalke says "it's up to Alex" as to whether Smith will return to the 49ers in 2011.

Complaint department: Where to begin? The 49ers play a Monday night game at home against the Steelers followed by a Saturday game against the Seahawks at Qwest Field. That's a tough turnaround, but there is more. The 49ers play a Sunday game at home against division-rival Arizona on Dec. 11, followed by a Thanksgiving game across the country in Baltimore -- a highly anticipated matchup pitting 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh against his brother, John. That's just brutal. On top of it all, the league again saddled the 49ers with more 10 a.m. PT kickoffs than any West Coast team should have to face. Five of the six potential early starts will indeed kick off in the 10 a.m. PT hour, matching the total for Seattle. That's 27 early kickoffs in 28 chances since 2007. Good luck, Jim.

Wonder why the game at the Redskins wasn't scheduled as the game before the Thursday night game. The 49ers could have made the trip out on Friday to DC, played on Sunday, probably stayed in the same hotel until the Thursday game. Would have cut down about 4,000 travel miles round trip, and given the 49ers a fairer chance to prepare for the Thanksgiving game. 49ers should have pushed for that arrangement.

Wow, this schedule is brutal.
looking at schedule all our 10 o clock games only one of them is against a top teams

washington redskins
eagles
rams
bengals

the toughest thing is that on sunday we play cardinals then on a short week we play the ravens

another short week is that we play steelers on monday then seahawks on saturday

so although we have some short weeks and some early games the only one that concerns me is the eagles early game and the ravens short week
