lol, Colin needs to be ready ASAP. He's the back-up QB and everyone knows all it takes is 1 injury for back-ups to become starters.
He needs to be preparing as if he's the starting QB. This is how Rodgers approached the game, luckily he played behind the invincible Favre. Plus there's no excuse when you have rookies like Dalton, Newton, Ponder, etc that are picking it up nicely.
Matter of fact there's an article on the SF Chronicle today about Kaepernick becoming a full-time student of football. I'm going to read it on my break.

We should just start Kaep now so he takes the injury hit that Alex could have taken if he were starting, then put Alex right back in. JH will be genius because he will have absorbed the usual yearly QB injury hit and he would keep his starting QB.

why does that bother you
Old for a rookie especially one who relies on his athleticism.
It doesn't bother me.
Yeah, Aaron Rogers was 25 when he started his first season with the Pack.
You wanna know what bothers me more? -Throwing a 21-year-old QB out into the fire without an o-line, or viable receiving threats to throw to.
f**k you Mike Nolan.
How old is Cam fig Newton ?

you kidding?
panthers have a decent o line
also they have a lot of recidving threats and 2 startjng RBs
they probally have 10x the talent we had in 2005 and that isn't even an exaggeration

Yup. Our 05 team was one of the worst I've ever seen in pro football.

"@brandonmkeller: @Kaepernick7 bet you were glad to not be the starter last night. #toomanysacks" I'd rather be sacked every play than watch

Good to see he's still hungry and has the right attitude. I still think he'll beat alex in the next training camp. The short offseason was the reason he didn't win it this time.
