2005 24th pick GB selects Alex Smith

I know everyone has been talking and dreaming of the what if scenario of Rogers being drafted by our niners instead of Smith. My question is do you think that Alex Smith would have been successful if he were drafted by the Packers instead. First, I think Rogers may have not been as good as he is right now because he got to mature for a few years as a back up. However, I think he would have been at least an above average QB, which A. Smith has proven he is not. Smith has some serious accuracy issues which cannot be blamed on system or coaching. Sure the WR can run better routes but I remember him totally missing open targets his first few years. He would throw the ball at the ground on a casual screen pass. This season I would say he has been an average QB. Many of the int's early in the season were not his fault and just because of WR routes or bad luck. I think he would've been an average QB at best with GB also. Your thoughts?
