I agree. Plus those jitters we saw will most likely be gone for our newbies. Don't know of many sophmore slump stories with linemen lol.

I'm jacked to see what they will be like after a second camp (hopefully: cba pending).

I have high hopes for this particular area, the entire offense will most likely look completely different... not even factoring in the wco

I'm excited that we will finally have a quick-hitting pass offense where the first read requires 2 seconds at the most and the QB should be at his 3rd read at 3.2 or so seconds and that's the part Walsh was talking about when he said once you are at your 3rd read, your QB must be able to make an athletic off balance throw.

Our dumb offense has required the QB to make the throw at 3 seconds to his first damn read and expected it to be from perfect form.

I think Harbaugh will target the OL for some particular intense coaching. Look at his Stanford guys. Everyone to a man knew their job.

I actually think he might make a better player out of Rachal. Kid was always raw but didn't seem to be developed.

I think a lot of that has to do with the simpler defenses in college. Having said that, Harbaugh did his job which was preparing them for college defenses. I'm sure he will do the same with preparing our guys for NFL defenses.

It's kind of like Alex Smith's worst college game was one against a defense he couldn't figure out the entire prep week. He saw that in the NFL every week.

Yea coaching may help but he can't pass block at all and teams run players past him and Davis way to much.
All I know is that watching our Oline last year the right side seemed to get confused far too often.

First year player next to a young vet, next to a new center, next to a rookie, next to a guy who was injured...throw out last year.

If they are smart enough to master Harbaugh's offense they should be fine physically. Both rookies have shown that they can move quickly enough but they were constantly fooled by speed rushers and blitzes. That shouldn't happen as much in the new offense. Having a year together will help and if they pick up a Mankins, it should help more.

The 80's 9er lines morphed constantly but were able to do the job because they were tenacious. Davis has to toughen up and stop whining about people being unkind in the piles.
