Seeing the field, quick release, accurate passing, avoiding the pass rush.....all starts with good footwork.

Bingo.

Second that! Walsh stressed footwork. And specifically, the ability to avoid the first pass rusher on his own. The scheme and O-line was responsible for keeping all but 1 defender away from the QB, while the QB was responsible for 1 on his own

The last sentence was key too about intuition.

You can be a passer but not a QB (Drunkenmiller)

And a QB but not be able to pass (accurately, with touch, and hit the receivers in stride)

When you have both, you have something ;)

Walsh would NOT do that.

Lynch is a moron.

The best response to the article was this:

Amid a prize winning collection of utterly stupid commentaries, Kevin, you have, quite remarkably, managed to top yourself.
Im not a Boise St. fan at all cuz they kick Hawaii's ass year after year but while reading this thread, my mind keeps going to Kellen Moore. Not ideal height i know but hes one of the more accurate QBs I've seen the last couple years

Anyone know if he declared?

disagree with you, and agree with Lynch. Walsh would do that. In his later years, Walsh was very fascinated by the spread, and tried to learn more about it. He believed it will one day become a norm in the NFL. I also agree that as much as SF is the birthplace of the WCO, moreso, it is the birth of offensive football innovation. I would love the pro-style spread brought to the NFL full time. NE and Indy almost run it already.

It's nice to know Harbaugh will develop a quarterback. Whether we draft a QB in the 1st or the 6th round I'm confident he'll get the right guy.
