This poll is intended to save us from all of the hindsight that is regularly used on this board.
Please vote and also state your choice in the thread so that you may be held accountable for your opinion in the future.
Rules:
1) If you do support the signing of Harbaugh and he fails, you accept that you cannot use his failing as a reason down the line to argue that Jed is a bad owner or Baalke is a bad GM. You can still make these arguments in the future, but you cannot use Harbaugh's failures to justify them.
2) If you do not support the signing Harbaugh and Harbaugh succeeds, you have to say that you were wrong and thought Harbaugh would fail before listing all of your reasons for why you think Harbaugh isn't the one responsible for our success under his tenure.
Of course, if you do support the signing and he succeeds, or if you don't support the signing and he fails, well, you have it on record and you get to gloat!
I think this thread is valid as it may save us from a lot of silliness down the line.
If you're curious about the definition of success, let's consider success to be measured as two consecutive playoff appearances, or reaching the NFC championship game at least one time.
I'll go first: Yes. I think Harbaugh will succeed.

Yes, he was best coach available that would take the job.
Also want to note that Gruden was and is still my first choice.

He was the best college coach available. Wouldn't have minded an NFL coach, but I'm happy.

Yes.
But he has several things that can derail him.
~ Yorks.
~ Baalke.
~ Paarage.
Other factors can drag him down so I'm not sure if he will succeed.

Yes I support Harbaugh.
I hope he drafts a QB like Mallett and we win the west next year.

I support the hire. I think Jed made a good move and swung for the fences.
It could still fail miserably, but it was worth the risk.
