I have no faith in Kolb. If he were a FA, I'd say give him a shot, but if the Eagles still want 2 firsts or even just 1 first round pick +?....Hell no.

This is what I am hoping for.

Andy Reid obviously had a lot of faith in him as he was expected to run their team for the next 10 years, in the WCO by the way.
Vick was still supposed to be the gadget guy. It just turned out Kolb got hurt and Vick remembered how to run and learned how to read a D and hit the open man.

If we can pry Kolb out for a 2nd or 3rd type of combo we can still use our 1st round pick on a big need (CB, DE etc).

I don't want to risk wasting a 1st rd pick on a QB who may not be good, and almost definitely won't be in their rookie year.

Or we could pick up Favre.....

agree i will not trade for a 1st nor 2nd. 3rd is a possibility but thats still taking a risk.

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt go after any "big name" quarterbacks at all. The idea of trading high draft picks for a vet worries me. Like McNabb not fitting in well under a different coach/scheme in Washington for example

We could see a Josh Johnson(trade a lower pick), Kellen Clemens, Rookie QB scenario and the best man wins the job

Not ideal but possible if the rookies gonna take over in a year anyway
