all we need is a chemistry and a understanding between GM and HC and off course that the GM knows how to pick players that fit the scheme and a bad ass HC who know what the hell he is doing...

I think we are going to have that with Balkee and Harbaugh and I am really exited about all this moving forward, escpecially with a Young , Creative, West Coast Offfence HC....

go niners

Really?

2009 NO Saints:

2008 Pittsburg Steelers:
Owner: The Rooney Family - tons and tons of collective experience
GM: Kevin Colbert - old hand with Lions (during most of their mid-90s playoff appearnaces)and Dolphins
Mike Tomlin: Previous NFL DC with Vikings ; lots of success with Tampa

2007 NY Giants:
Owner: The Maras - old guard NFL family
GM: Jerry Reese: Been with the team since 1994
HC: Tom Coughlin - as experienced as an NFL coach as there is

2006 Indy Colts:
Owner: Jim Irsay - Better than his father -: Irsays are a long established NFL family
GM: Bill Polian - no comment needed
HC: Tony Dungy - no comment needed

2005 Pittsburg Steelers:
Owner: See above
GM: See above
HC: Bill Cowher - no comment needed

2003-2004 NE Patriots - Belichick, et. all - no comment needed

2002 TB Buccaneers:
Owner: Malcolm Glazer
GM: Rich Mckay - tons of experience
HC: John Gruden - previous Raiders HC

How far back do you want me to go?

I am hard-pressed to even name ONE SB winner that has inexperienced men across all three of those key positions.

Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson with the Cowboys in the early 90s? At least Jerry was a highly successful businessman before he bought the Cowboys and became his own GM. Jimmy Johnson? He at least had a record of sutained success over multiple years in the college coaching ranks.

Joe Gibbs and Jack Kent Cooke with the Skins? Tons of experience.

The NY Giants with Parcells and the Maras again in the 80s. No inexperience there.

Bill Walsh and John McVay? Both had plenty of NFL experience before they joined together in their relatively new positions for the 81 SB run.

The great Steeler teams of the 70s, the Rooneys and Chuck Noll. Yup!

Dallas - Tex Schramm, Tom Landry - yup!

Speaking of experience (and how overrated it can be):

Jerry Sullivan is in his sixth season with the 49ers after being named wide receivers coach/senior assistant on January 25, 2005. Sullivan boasts 19 years of NFL coaching experience, including one season as the Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator.

In 2009, Sullivan played a significant role incorporating rookie WR Michael Crabtree into the 49ers offense midway through the season. After missing the first five games of the season due to a contract impasse, Crabtree went on to rank 1st among all NFL rookies with 56.8 receiving yards per game in 11 starts. WR Josh Morgan followed up his productive rookie season by setting career highs in receptions (52) and receiving yards (527), to rank 3rd on the team in both categories.

Burning down the house!!!

That's actually a terrible example. Big difference between having FO experience and having experience as a position coach.
