Yes, Brett Favre has been to like 2 pro bowls and he has 11 or so on his resume. I think there is a different between all pro and pro bowler though. I want to say one all pro per position. I think there is a 2nd team all pro and maybe 3rd team all pro as well. All pro is higher than pro bowl because like I said 1 player in the entire NFL at each position for 1st team all pro.
# 4× Pro Bowl selection (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)
# 2× First Team All-Pro selection (2007, 2009)
# 1× Second Team All-Pro selection (2008)
Don't think All Pro is voted on by fans so it's not a popularity contest. I think sports writers vote.

Eh, it's okay. I really like hearing about our 49ers getting recognized, but with the Super Bowl teams no longer featuring their players... I feel the Pro Bowl's luster has diminished.
Plus, although big injuries almost never happen (but they HAVE), I'm glad that our best player (and a guy who could potentially be in the HoF one day) won't run the risk of being injured in an exhibition game.
