Nolan was treasonous for failing to build an oline in his tenure. That's what killed him, no oline, no offense because of it.
Sing comes in and began building an oline right off the bat. He won't be around to see if he was successful and we hope Sing's legacy will be that of leaving us with one of the better oline's in the league. Unlike Nolan, my hat is off to Sing for that...he had his priority's right about what needed fixing and set about fixing it immediately.
Sing had to wait for AS to show himself another year before making a decision on the QB spot. Whomever comes next will live and die by how well they address that position. They won't stand a chance in hell unless they fix that spot and do it fairly quickly to boot. Out next coach had better be a QB's coach or he won't make it. Bank on it.

Anthony Davis. Someone coach him up all through the off-season cause I can't take the Kwame like plays into next year. Rookie time is over and was so painful to watch.

I used to be in the draft O linemen high camp, and now I have switched. The Rams did good this season because they had a QB who is accurate and makes quick decisions, getting rid of the ball quickly making his O line look better.
The opposing D's do not respect the niners passing game, so they play man on the WR's, stack the box and bring the house as a pass rush.
If the Niners drafted better this year, they would have improved (unless our coach's screwed them up).
The O line actually played
BETTEr with sims at LT, the whole season O lline of Sims, Wragge, Baas, Snyder and the LT at RT would have been better than IUPATI and head case Anthony Davis.
Draft skill folks early and O linemen later, see Bill Walshs book on drafting. If you have qb's, RB;s and Wr;s who are quicker and can get the ball out in less than 1.5 seconds, the O line will improve.

We still need to pick the right type of Head Coach and draft a potential Franchise QB along with bringing in a solid starting veteran qb to pull us out of this mess.

U know,...it seemed like no matter who was under center...these guys couldn't buy (the QB) time. O-line must be fixed! I don't care how it's done...rookie, free agents, military intervention,....I DON'T CARE!

I don't think people talk about Davis enough. This guy continued to kill momentum on Offense. He is responsible for the lost fumble from the sack on Smith yesterday. Did you see him go around the Center to the left like it was a run leaving the tackle wide open to Smith? WOW. He needs to get better real fast, because he is a serious liability.

But the rams also have a coordinator who utilizes the short passing game.
How many plays did you see this year [or since 2006] that were not deep routes that required our offensive line to hold up forever???
