It became pretty clear that beyond the 0-5 start everything about Singletary changed. -Sing looked like a crushed man (almost a shell of the person he was in 2008) who had no answers, and was just expecting himself to be gone after the season.

I think by the end he had conceded that he is simply in over his head as an NFL head coach. I'd be interested to see if he gives up trying to be a head coach on any level because he shouldn't be any more than an LB coach (if that).

You can see Ginn's knee coming down inbounds before he gets out of bounds in the replay. He never should have turned up field, he should have went straight out. I blame that on bad coaching.

Regardless of who the coach was Ginn should have known to get out of bounds. This is the type of stuf you learn @ a middle school level.

kinda think you're right snake. however, i think those crushing 5 weeks exposed himself to himself like looking in a mirror on LSD. the 1st 5 weeks were filled with either a horrible game plan or all too familiar miscues, that's coaching (not trying to talk about alex). and i don't think he resolved himself to the fate of being fired imho he dug himself a fox hole and tried to stick to his philosophy as much as he could.
