What was (is) the most exciting time to be a 9er fan since their last playoff W?

I feel bad for fans who have just followed the 9ers for the last 8 years or so... there really hasn't been much to get excited about. HOF inductions (a sad reminder of what used to be) Kudos to those of you who became fans after 2002... hopefully Jed will get things turned around and get the organization back to its winning ways.

Well right now, nothing has happened, so I'm going with the Nolan hire. After the 2-14 season, he gave the fanbase hope with his fancy speeches and powerpoints, and all that on top of being the son of a former 49ers coach.

i'm going with the sing hire or our current state right now, going into the future with the hopes of hiring quality coaching for a pretty talented team

Probably the first game of this season. I really thought we were going to be a good team. Turns out our offense wasn't as good as thought, our defense has some major holes, our coaching staff is incompetent. I don't know, I just really thought this was the year it all turned around.

Every off-season gives me hope that they will finally fit all the puzzle pieces together and right the ship. So far no Luck.(no pun intended) BUT... this one could finally be the big one... The right GM with the right coaching staff with the right QB..... Come on Jed, don't screw it up!
