Will we see the N. Davis v. J. Skelton next week? | Page 2

global_nomad · 2010-12-26T17:47:59-08:00

both 5th round QB draft picks: Nate Davis vs. John Skelton? Damon Bruce said on the post game radio show that if Jed wants to be more hands on he needs to tell the coach (whoever it is) to start Nate Davis next week. But after reading Maiocco's quotes from Jed it sounds like he is ready to start a QB from the draft next year or get a qb from an outside source. If you are Jed do you demand Nate Davis play next week? Maybe it will be Jedi York's marketing move to fill some seats next week. [ Edited by global_nomad on Dec 26, 2010 at 22:07:58 ]

Not happening...they won't release either Smith nor Carr 'til after the season. Actually, Alex won't be released, they'll just let him compete in FA. Skelton had some nice moments in the Dallas game...big kid, got the arm and apparent moxy, needs PT.

I hope Tomsula does something crafty, like bringing back that schmohawk Jarret Brown to play QB/Tazer, signing Thomas Clayton (why else would we cut Wynn??) and starts Alex Boone. FTW
Jed said they expect him to win... to which Tomsula must be thinking "have these guys even watched our QB play this year?"
