Just for the sake of something different than all the negative talk going on this entire season i'd like the Niner faithful to talk about the players currently on this roster with say.. 3 years exp. or less that they think may grow into big contributers to this organization. (includes practice roster)

There is more players out there too. Good teams will get the real players out on the field, if we can't figure out our "hidden" draft gyms how are we going to know about our top picks ex: Alex, Chilo, Crabs. I really belive that we have most of the talent already here but we need a coach that knows his xo's, and not a guy that has been hit in the head to much.

Does anyone on this board see any similiarities to Jamarcus Russell, Dennis Dixon and Alex Smith? Thought so.

Drafting Cam Newton would be the single dumbest draft decision in franchise history - which speakds volumes if we judge recent history alone!

We need an NFL ready qb which means Luck, Moore, Dalton and maybe Locker, or a hidden gem (i.e., Flacco). But, I doubt that our college scouts have the skills or confidence to find, evaluate and sell a relatively unknown qb prospect to our current GM and coaching staff. Too "hot" a potato imo.

I agree he looks good on paper and the passes the eye ball test. What has he really done, he is a system QB. After he gets his money I don't see him as the first one in every day and last to leave.

Yes Sir im glad you said this because i have felt exactly the same about Cam Newton and my mind always thinks JaMarcus Russel. I know they are two different people. I just dont see him being a good to great QB especially in a struggling franchise.
