Switching back to Troy just proves how inept Singletary is as a coach. So were the last 2 weeks with Alex Smith starting a mistake? Did Singletary think Troy would have played better in those games? Or is it simply a matter of Troy plays well against St Louis, and Alex will play again next week? I don't think I have ever seen a coach change his mind on his QBs as much as Singletary.

Who I prefer and who is likely the best choice are two completely different answers. Since the question is, "who do you prefer?", definitely Troy.

Not to joke..but he looks dazed and confused here too
Coach was asking him about some plays in the playbook that he doesn't know...
I'm starting to wonder if he was actually having the problems the coaches claimed. I have no faith in our staff's ability to assess talent at that position, or any position for that matter except maybe linebacker.
