If we make the Playoffs, who do you think we'll play in the Wild-Card Round | Page 2

Since we'll play the 5-seed if we win the West, I expect a re-match against the Saints. We played pretty well against them, and I think we'd have a good shot in a re-match in San Francisco. If we win that game, we would play the #2 seed (probably Philly) if the Bears lose to the #6 seed, which I see as likely (I have no idea how the Bears have won so many games). Personally, I think we match up best against the Giants, because they don't have elite speed and they love to run the football -- we're pretty good at stopping the run, and we're more physical than we are fast on defense. Decent match-up for us.

Tampa and The Pack already did. The giants we DO NOT match up well against they have a great WR crew and good QB. And LOL at the people saying we can play the Saints because we "almost beat them earlier" That was week two, start of the season teams are figuring there stuff out and the Saints had some injuries. We cant beat any teams in the playoffs. Do people forget what happens when we play on Sundays???

most likely the Saints will beat Tampa week 17, which puts them against us.
if they lose, we face NYG

although it doesn't seem much of a possibility right, now. WHEN we host the playoff game in Jan. it will be against he Packers, It's the team we can't seem to beat (outside of the #8 to 81 Connection) Yet we always get matched against them in the postseason. I for one am all for going as far into the playoffs as we can. Worry about Getting a new coach or acquiring Luck, a later day!!!!

It'd be hard to see a GB-SF matchup, since GB would have to win out (which they'll probably do) and NO would have to lose out...then Green Bay would have to win the common-opponent tie-breakers.

I applaud your call to win at all costs...success breeds success. We go to the playoffs at 7-9, the monkey is off our back and we'll be more confident in 2011.

I will play along and say New Orleans. The team I least want to play in the playoffs even if it is round 2 would be Philly on the road. If we play like we where in the beginning of the season I think we would match up ok with the Saints, Falcons, Bears and possibly the Giants. Who knows what team would show up and the other teams would probably elevate their games as well.

P.S. Anything can happen in the playoffs when it's one and done.
