Singletary should hire an all-star cast to "help" him in the playoffs. He should hire cowher, gruden and harbaugh to guide him in his gameplan and decisions. But on a more serious note, should singletary hire some outsde help? let's face it, if this team goes to the playoffs, it would be the worst team to go...ever. Singletarys gameplan in the regular season was exposed since day 1, just think what will happen to us in the playoffs.

They have to eat that plus whatever it takes to get somebody new if they fire him. They will look for a way out if they can. 7 - 9 and playoffs provides that out.

Now I have heard it all. Jed will (hopefully) realize that the only reason we made the playoffs is because we have such a horrible division. If you put us in any other division in the NFL and we would probably be the worst team in that division. Sorry but I still don't think that Sing will be back.

Jed is not running anything. He is a "Frontman / Faceman" only. He represents new found hope and change and a brighter future. An assurance to taxpayers footing the bill for a new stadium. People were sick of fat head York's losing ways. So he needed an ace in the hole for a new stadium. Enter new Frontman...

John York still holds all the purse strings here and runs things from behind the scenes.

I have been a diehard 49ers for 32 years. I do not want to see them make the playoffs once, then struggle again next year. I want to see them make the playoffs and have legitimate Super Bowl opportunities every year. Don't win this battle only to lose the war. And yes, it kills me to say I don't want a playoff team this year.

Your team and mines needs all the playoff atmosphere they can get. I have seen teams get rid of coaches after a playoff run. I like my teams odds with any team because every game must be played. And sometimes good teams look past bad ones even in the playoffs. I want any and every playoff game. Do you really want our team to suck now to not suck later. As a true fan I never want my team to suck for any reasons. If you don't like that then shuv'it and twist it
