Yeah, and it still stands! Maiocco's been echoing this sentiment for the past 2 months.

But what people are really pist about is that once we make the playoffs it will be for nothing. We'll be f**ked with automatic 21st pick draft-slotting, tons of s**tty picks.

For the sake of our future, we need to lose next Sunday, or the next rebuild could go even slower under the next coach (no premium trading chips to cash in for either Prince/Peterson/Luck within the 10th overall selections).

well, i think it would depend on whose baby it is.

The only way Sing keeps his job is if the Niners win the Superbowl.

I'm with those that account for the ownership. I think Sing could keep his job if we miss the playoffs. Not saying he should. Just think he could.

You do remember who runs this team, right? Did you not read Ann Killion's latest article?

Don't count on Singletary getting fired if we get to the playoffs, especially if we somehow, magically, manage to win a game.

I am back and forth on Sing. I am tired of change and really don't want to restart all over. I believe with a few tweeks he can actually have a winning team next year. I also see the entire staff coach like crap in games and then I want everyone fired and go get a new coach. Im for whatever Jed does and will support his decision either way.

Whomever's saying that doesn't know Jed...I'd be willing to bet if we somehow manage to make the playoffs, Singletary will be retained, which most of us know would be a bad thing.

Singletary staying would be bad, but MJ getting an offseason to change the playbook from Raye's to his stuff could be a small positive.

Manusky still needs to go, or get him some better CB's to run his all game prevent defense with.
