Everybody keeps saying that we need to win out. When was the last time we won 4 games in a row with Alex Smith? Hell, when was the last time we won 3 games in a row with Alex Smith?

2001. We won 5 in a row that year. Never since did we win more than 3 in a row.

3 games, I think it was 2006. The last time we had more than at least a 3 game winning streak was 2001.

Just makes that Clements fumble and the last second defensive failures vs Atlanta and New Orleans all the more brutal. Just can't be giving those games away. Ugh... and then there's the David Carr INT across the middle when we had the lead with a minute of clock remaining...

Jesus H. Christ -- that was a long time and a lot of gray hairs ago.

If we win that Saints game early in the season, I assume we'd have won more games out of the 1st 5 losses. It would've done wonders for the team's confidence.

The loss to Carolina was the one that broke the camels back.

who cares...we have a favorable schedule to close out the season...as long as we can beat the chargers, we should have no problem beating the rams and arizona.

We only need to beat the Rams and Zona. The Chargers would just be a plus.

it'd be embarrassing going into the playoffs at 7-9 though.

We've gone 4 wins in a row guys.
In 2008 we closed the season off with wins to the Rams and Skins.
In 2009 we opened the season with wins to the Cardinals and Seahawks. Would have been 5 if it wasnt for the miricle Favre TD with 2secs.
yes all this under coach Sing.
