I've watched that hit maybe twenty times. I'm just shocked that Brad Smith didn't have some huge injury from that. That hit had the potential to break him in two!

I think Michael Lewis saved his life because he was pulling the back of Smith's jersey during the hit, so it decreased the momentum.

I've obviously also watched the clip... well, too many time to count.

Good luck must've rubbed off on Brad Smith--he DID get the Thanksgiving Day game MVP after all.

Also, when Willis polished off Adrian Peterson in his rookie year, Peterson has gone on to become an elite back in this league.

Heck, maybe I should get creamed by Patrick Willis too!

I was at that game.

Sitting in the upper reserved seats directly in the middle of the field. When Willis hit him it looked like he broke Brad Smith in half. The hit was SOOO loud. Everyone in our section did the WOOOOOOOOOO. Then i yelled out loud. " He f**kin killed him!"
