49ers coach Mike Singletary has yet to exterminate the “rat” in the building. More than two months after anonymous 49ers sources criticized the team’s coaching staff in a “dad-gum Yahoo commericial,” players are speaking out again — this time to David White of the San Francisco Chronicle. One “experienced” player says the 49ers don’t make adjustments like other teams. One said that his family knows what play the 49ers will run in a given situation. A former 49ers player said “there’s no backup plan” when things don’t go well. Yikes. The latest criticism comes after the 49ers were badly out-coached in a 21-0 loss to the Bucs. “Once teams know what the 49ers want to do with the ball, their defenses adjust and the 49ers typically struggle to make their own necessary counterchanges, several players said this week,” White writes. Everyone on our coaching staff is retarded. I liked how Eric Davis grilled Johnson for putting the blame on the players, and for not creating adjustments or having a "plan B" himself.

You hear about an occasional open revolt, but it is really rare. When it happens it is because the coach is really abusive, really crazy.

Simple bad coaching usually results in what is happening now, grumbling, a few read-between-the-lines statements, a Deep Throat or two leaking info. Then there are the poor performances where they vote with their feet, kind of going through the motions.

I like how they state "experienced player". So a veteran is speaking out? Good. Can't wait for this season to be over. I've thrown in the towel since week 6.

Last year when Raye was allowed to call a spread offence we had success, this year when Johnosn was allowed to call playaction and missdirection with troy we did well.
Unfortunatley Sing put a clamp on that.

wrong Jerry Sullivan is great

so is Tomsula and Mike Solari will get it together

Pete Hoener and Tom Rathman are both coaches that belong on staff as well.

Sullivan has proven that he has not-and cannot-develop or coach up our wide receivers. I cannot wait for this guy to be f**king cut with the rest of the clowns.

but yes, solari, 44 and hoener are keepers.

this isn't some big revelation...this team is out coached a regular basis. hell, i'm having a heck of a time trying to think of a game when i can honestly say they countered the opposing team.

the staff has plenty to bag on the players too. The talent level is vastly overestimated by Niner fans. This is truly a situation where we have bad players AND bad coaches
