I don't know about leaving a game but I could see doing it as a protest.

On another note...for the first time I really wish we were NOT on national TV. I really hope we win. I don't feel like hearing it from a bunch of band wagon Saints/Cowboys/Colts/Patriots and now...RAIDER fans.
any of you guys selling your tickets? ive never been to a niner game and i wanna go. i know they really dont deserve support for that s**tty offering on sunday but i wanna go see them.

Watched the first half of the 49ers game and was so bored and fed up I left at halftime and went home. This team doesn't interest me anymore like they used to. Not a priority to watch their games anymore this year. Sad to say it but the thrill is gone. Its not even fun anymore.

go to finnertys irish pub whenever you're in nyc. best 49ers bar ever

So just because i dont have season tickets dont mean anything. BTW anyone willing to sell thiers plus thier right, You may have a buyer. Dont question my fandom cuz i dont have season tickects buddy. If i lived in the Bay areas i would be at EVERY GAME. I dont like what has transpired over the last 10 yrs either but leaving a game at 7-0 at the half is piss poor fandom. Why waste your money anymore Sell your tickest to someone that would appreciate going to the game. That is pure disrespect

I stayed at every game I have ever been to, including the Wildcard comeback game against the Giants. Never even THOUGHT, or CONSIDERED leaving a game at halftime until yesterday. Sometimes we'll leave in the middle of the 4th Quarter if we're getting smashed to beat traffic... but yesterday, me and 3 of my cousins were all in agreement that there was no point in staying to watch that sorry excuse of a game.

I love my team, and I have season tickets, but to me, after a showing like yesterday, not having fun, enjoying the experience, there was literally no reason to stay. I mean it was one of the worst games I have ever been to, and I just wanted to get the f**k outta the stick... Call me what u will, "Not a real fan" "Fairweather Fan", "Unfaithful Fan" etc... it's fine, that doesn't bother me. I know what I am, and I (we) as real 49er fans deserve better than this.

After I told some people we left at halftime, I heard that ALOT of people left at halftime too. Question to those watching on TV.... Did the stands look emptier after halftime?

BTW. The best part of the game were the budlight chicks that we took pics with. Gotta gettem uploaded. Pics to come!

You have every right to do what you want to do as a fan. I dont blame you. Singletary should have been fired at halftime.

I hear you my brother! I know the feeling and have done that myself before even after spending all that money and time to get to the game. When the 49ers show such a pathetic display of team effort, why stick around?

My deal is that we showed so much hope and promise in the preseason and I was so pumped up for the season to start and then we get this... a 3-7 record to start the season. All that talent and ALL those first round picks and what do we have to show for it? NOTHING...that's what

some die hard fan

HUGE die hard fan actually...

Merriam-Webster would tell you otherwise.

die–hard | adj ˈdī-ˌhärd

Strongly or fanatically determined or devoted.

Walking out in disgust is definately within the realm of something someone devoted would do...especially after already paying money to be there. The dude said he has a huge fan, not "blindly loyal kool aid drinker"

To all the above posters and everyone else that sees where I was coming from. This post isn't to distinguish whether I'm a true fan or not, it's to show how disgusted I am in a team that has done absolutley nothing for us fans. Hey the "49ers walked out on us at halftime" a long ass time ago if you think about it.

For the other guys, Stoney, Redrathman, SF4EVA that don't agree or question my "fandom", hey, to each his own. This was the first time I left, and granted it felt weird doing so, we just weren't into it, and neither was anyone else... but for the times we did stay until the end, The Falcolns Slaughter last year, The Patriots when Cassel and Moss torched us and other bad losses etc. this one time doesn't quite categorize me as a poor fan.

I would have wanted to do the same thing Zoz -- but wifey feels differently. We attend one or two games per year -- and she doesn't get out of her seat until the final second ticks off the clock -- no matter what the score. She's just diehard.

It means -- of course -- that we're fighting traffic all the way back to Sacramento -- but that's just the way she is. It's the same with Cal football games and Sacramento Kings games. And trust me -- the Kings are truly terrible.

But the fact that you shell out big $$$ to attend games (not just you -- I know there are others Stoney, ) -- proves that you're more diehard than most.

I will not pay good money for season tix to watch this team lose week in and week out.

Thanks for getting it. I go to every single home game. Leaving 1 game that in hindsight was the worst loss at the stick since 1977, does not make me a bad fan. Whether or not we were down "only" 7-0 at the half wasn't the point. It was the ineptitude of our coaching and play. The opportunities we didn't capitalize on. The fact we could not run against the 31st run d in the league. The fact we could not stop the run.

The fact we did NOT get in the red zone once the entire game. Yea, it was just time to leave.

That would be awesome, especially with Gruden in the MNF booth. If he hasn't been thinking about it already that would definitely make him and the ownership pay attention.

Uhh no buddy... sorry to break the news to you, but leaving a game when your team has handed you nothing but garbage for the past 7 years is NOT "pure disrespect"

What IS "PURE DISPRESPECT" is the fact that the Yorks keep shoveling this sorry excuse of an NFL team that used to be the team other teams molded themselves after, ownership wise, management wise, coaching staff wise, player personnel wise and scheme wise, and is now the laughing stock of the NFL down our throats!

What is "PURE DISRESPECT" to us as fans is he thinks we are blind sheep and that just because they get this overly zelous motivational speaker to come in and trick us into thinking he has the skills to be a head coach when in reality we probably can't even beat Stanford, or even De La Salle for that matter.

Those things are PURE DISRESPECT. It is disrespectful to one of the most loyal fan bases in sports.

So for me to expect a bit more from a team that was poised to do so well this season only to fall flat on their faces once again (surprise surprise) and when I don't get what I expect, decide to leave in utter disgust, that I think is pretty much validated, and in no way disrespect. It is disrespectful to yourself to stay and watch the crappy ass product they trot on the field and on the sideline (coaches) and be ok with it. Support them. Love them. But don't just blindly give them the benifit of the doubt.

It's time for us fans (who without us they would be NOTHING) to hold them accountable. If holding them accountable is disrespectful... then so be it... but I don't think it is. I'm glad I left when I did. I love this team. But I'm angry as hell at them.
