Yeah I agree. They should anoint Troy the starter going forward. Smith has had excesses but by this time in his career with a career record something like 16-28 Smith is nothing more than a coach killer.

Some people have said Sing has to watch what he says about Alex in case he has to come back into the game, but I disagree. The "competitive" spirit is a load of crap at the QB position in the NFL. If you don't have one true guy then you are in trouble. Like Shaun Hill said no that he is gone, its very difficult to prepare when you aren't sure who has the edge.

just cause he only has 19 posts doesnt mean anything. just means he doesnt spend his life on this forum. unlike someone with around 19000 posts.

i thought by naming Troy starter he is saying his play was ok? aren't you clearly stating by demoting one player that the other one is playing better. also he said that he likes Troy taking chances, when they work but when they don't, he doesn't. lol. which is how any coach feels. anyhow, i don't see the need to be all pissed off. Troy is starting, Alex is not.

at half time.. and during the game. he said his play is OK. thats is. and the only reason he is starting him is cause he won. and he has to keep his job. i know he wants to go back to alex smith. who is not a risk taker and does what he is told. troy is more of a loose player. and it makes him worry and freak out on the sideline. he is just starting troy to save his job. he really wants alex in there.
