Time to really see about our coaching.....

Personally, I've seen enough already. This coaching staff had months to prepare for Seattle, but went up there and laid an egg. (The Seahawks, on the other hand, actually looked like a team that had been preparing for months.) This coaching staff is routinely out-gameplanned and out-coached. The Kansas City game was a coaching beat down, pure and simple.

Here's what I'd like to see from our coaching staff: I'd like to see them find a way to win a game when it matters. Ever since Mike Nolan got here in 2005, one thing has been constant: This team only wins the meaningless games. Moral victories R us. Every time we even get a whiff of playing in a game that matters, the team comes out flat and finds a way to lose. But today, in the pathetic NFC West, the 2-6 49ers are actually in a position to move into contention if they can beat the 4-4 Rams on their home field. It's sad but it's true. In the bush league NFC West, this is actually a meaningful game. If the 49ers go out there find a way to lose, it'll be business as usual. "Same old 49ers." But if the coaching staff can actually get the team up for the game, devise a effective strategy, and find a way to win, it might actually (maybe, just maybe) mean that something has changed.

Ya but it was the Rams bye as well so it should be evenly matched

We're screwed!!!!
What you all need to understand is that Singletary does NOT gameplan, because he is who he is, everyone already knows his fysical filosophy... "beat the guy in front of you"...THAT IS IT. It has been like that since he took over and will ALWAYS be like that...there are no wrinkles, or adjustments..

Gore is the focus, offensive line has to be nasty, defense has to hit em in the mouth.

Always has been, always will be.

I'm expecting the same, and hoping this team executes and focused on cutting the mistakes.
So far, mistakes have cost the team 4 points (FG instead of TD) and a pick DEEP on the Ram side of the field that would have been at least a FG. Total 7 points the team has lost due to mistakes.

Not the way you're supposed to play after a bye week......

Agreed, and two wasted timeouts. Coaching decisions are killing us.
The coaching staff needs to get someone to cover #16. He's been running WIDE THE HECK open all game.

Yup. And 7 points is the least amount. Had things gone the Niners way, the team could have 21 points by now.......

No excuse for not getting the play off in time, thus resulting in a delay of game and 2 burnt T.O.s
Niners are doing well but they look undisciplined and are still making too many game and clock management mistakes. All that BS can be blamed on bad coaching.
There is a perfect example of our horrible coaching staff.

Call TO with 20 or so seconds left to make the rams punt and thus, give the Niners a lil time before the half. THEN, YOU CALL A f**kING DRAW PLAY AND LET THE CLOCK RUN OUT AFTER 1 PLAY!

Explain to me, WHY THE f**k DID YOU EVEN BOTHER WITH THE TO IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO AT LEAST TAKE A SHOT DOWNFIELD!

Sing has to go. I don't care how the rest of the season turns out, he's gotta go. He has no clue how to be an aggressive coach.
and the f**k-ups continue........1st play in the 2nd half, ILLEGAL FORMATION

they were hoping to get better field position.
Geez, its just a constant effort with some of you to try to discredit him as a head coach despite the fact that we've won two in a row, and Three games total when we dont turn the ball over...just like he preaches.

Funny how the gameplan is less conservative after there is time to actually prepare the QB. What happened to "OMG, Sing is so conservative in Denver, 80s style football, Waah Waaah" Our offense looked anything but conservative today.
Thank God for Troy Smith. He made this coaching staff look somewhat respectible today. Waaaay too many mitakes and penalty's jesus! Two weeks to prepare and we didn't even manage to take care of the little things. And why isn't Anthony Davis progressing? The coaches need to help develop this young man jeez...
