Sing has finally found a way to win that the defense won't see coming.
If it's putting in troy smith for alex im all over it. I'm sick of the fans most of all. It's like the last decade of losing makes you want to settle for a qb who doesn't have it.
Please watch alex there's a reason sam bradford has been so amazing first over all pick also because when you look at the it he has it, alex can't throw accurately face it troy smith may not be the right size but if he can at least see a guy he can throw him a catch able ball.
I don't want to settle for poor qb play. Montana Title Young Garcia, All of them were guys who had it that special thing inside them that was meant to lead men. Walsh had no problem pulling joe for steve or even steve and putting a hurt joe back in and he was a great coach he did what was best for the team.

In general I view that as a final act of desperation by a coach who has exhausted all other options.
Every couple of years a guy comes around like Tim Tebow or Cordell Stewart, who can be more effective than your starter for a given situation, but we don't have anybody that fits that role.
We need to start Troy until he plays himself out of the job. Alex had his shot and couldn't get it done.

It would only work if you had a college QB type that runs first and passes second, it would be a change of pace and screw with the defense.

I don't care how we do it.
I wouldn't care if the defense scored all of our points for the rest of the season.
I just wanna win, dammit.
