Aqib is going to be working his ass off....we shall see how "clearly" things are.

Aqib has been doing it all season...so what?

He's STILL shutting down WRs even without the aide of a pass rush...what's different this week? If anything, playing against such an inexperienced QB will help Talib and he'll play even BETTER this week.

It's Florida, it's always raining

I would say that during football season it rains more in SF that FL.

LB

during football season its Hurricane season here, hasn't been bad this year thank God but normally we get a ton

I've lived in FL since 77. We haven't had rain in my area for at least a month and a half.

Meant to ask, what part are you in? I'm in the space coast area.

LB

About an hour and a half south of you....St Lucie County

If this guy gets knocked out from that, imagine what Willis will do to him.

funny thing is while our new starting (heisman) qb has played petty damn well the past two puttin up amazing stats during the last, they insist he's full of ?? marks.

..and they're jacked about an undrafted rb. oh the irony.

And besides, we may not even f**k around with this BS and may decide just to run Gore down your league worst run defense's throat. We'll see how good that secondary of yours is when they get their asses caught from cheating up on the line.

Hahahaha.

Next line of BS please.

Considering that we've played the likes of:

Michael Turner
Steven Jackson
DeAngelo Williams (week 2..before injury)
Peyton Hillis
Rashard Mendenhall

...and we have 6 wins, I don't think Gore will be too much to handle.

We hear this argument every week- and most weeks, we've won.

Bucs fans, your defense is misleading and your secondary highly over rated by their fans. Let's see if you can try to work that brain and think a little bit. Below are the teams you have played and the ranking of their passing game.

Lost to:
PIT (22)
NO (5)
ATL (12)

Won:
CLE (29)
CAR (32)
CIN (8)
STL (24)
ARI (30)

Now let us talk about that CIN game:
1. dumb pick 6 thrown by Palmer with a 12 yard return for TD
2. CIN got jobbed by the refs on a fumble that should have been but the refs called it down by contact prematurely and TB kept the ball
3. Dropped pass by Chad Ochocinco that would have put CIN in FG range with little time left on the clock.

Oh and your favorite play Josh Freeman:
Niners fans might like this. You know the ball Troy Smith threw to Delanie vs DEN? Well, Freeman threw three of these in the CIN game and came out unscratched. He's also throwing into double coverage to Williams.

TB struggles against teams with solid passing games and got blown out by a team that spreads the ball, NO. Guess what, in the past few weeks, we have been one of the best teams in terms of spreading the ball and passing. We have 3 guys with 400+ yards receiving and would probably have 4 if Delanie Walker doesn't miss 3 games. That would actually make us with 5 players over 300 yards receiving. Our receiving stats are similar to the Saints.

When I'm not pretending to be a soldier, I request to be sodomized by Freeman. He typically complies.

Not only am I weak, like a girl, but I'm also mentally challenged!
for the most theyre hype is legitimate. i know raider fans who can say the same 'cept that we own 'em. what else can you say? for me it comes down to knowing how this team is stacked with talent which is why we were touted so high going into the season. the variable was at qb. course we learned that we also had an issue at playcalling and general mgnt. well it's looking like the qb and oc problems may be solved. with continuity all we can hope for is that coaching squares away on execution and cleanup penalties. definitely a good matchup.

Still not very clear dude. And besides, i'm gonna tell you right now where you guys are going to get your ass in trouble, Aqib "clearly" anything or not:

The big play, 40+ yards.

Being tied for third worst in the league with Seattle, Detroit and Jacksonville in giving up 40+ yard pass plays.

I've seen the type of argument you are trying to put forth before. The Seachicken fans used to come in here blah blah blahing about their bad ass boy Earl Thomas solving their problems with giving up the big play. LMAO, how's that turned out for them? Well, they are tied with you as third suckiest in the league, still. Yeah sure he can play some ball....but when you running your ass off because your front seven sucks ass, well, you are going to get your ass burnt by anybody who has the cajones to throw that ball deep. If you don't think Troy Smith has the Cajones to do that, you have obviously stuck your head way up your ass end.

You know what dude, lets get real here (with a lil' smack thrown in)....go right the f**k and have aqib shut Crabs down...s**t...take your pick who you want him to shut down...none of it makes two s**ts to me if your still going to end up giving up the big play someplace else, which your defense is famously known to do.

See how that works? You go spewing s**t off about some meaningless stat of 46th ranked something, I go spewing some ranking that actually mean's something in this game...s**t like how you guys have some serious issues with defending the 40+ big play, no matter who the hell you are playing... 46th, 1st or 1004th ranked blah blah blah or not.

First of all, since when is forcing a QB into a mistake not a credit to the defense?

2. "CIN got jobbed by the refs on a fumble that should have been but the refs called it down by contact prematurely and TB kept the ball"

What play do you mean?

The play you're referring to was overturned in FAVOR of the Bengals. There was absolutely no call in that game (on a fumble) that favored the Bucs based on down by contact.

3. By "Dropped pass by Chad Ochocinco that would have put CIN in FG range with little time left on the clock." do you mean to say: "Sabby Pistcatelli intercepted a pass intended for Ocho?" Sure, Ochocinco could've caught the pass, but
things like that happen every week. Maybe the WR should actually catch the ball if they deserved to win.

4. "Niners fans might like this. You know the ball Troy Smith threw to Delanie vs DEN? Well, Freeman threw three of these in the CIN game and came out unscratched. He's also throwing into double coverage to Williams."

He trusts his best WR to make a play. Its not different than what ANY successful QB does.

5. "Our receiving stats are similar to the Saints"

Well guess what? Your QB isn't even in the same UNIVERSE as Brees.

My biggest issue with you is that you flat out made up that "blown call" against the Bengals. Show me where that happened.

My mistake on the fumble, I stopped listening after the commentator said the ref called him down by contact.

However, let's discuss the Ocho drop: Sabby Pistcatelli intercepted the ball while being 5 yards behind Chad after the ball hit Chad in the hands and deflected backwards. The score was 21-21 with 38 seconds left and that would have put CIN into FG range.

As for the pick 6, there was blatant underneath coverage (textbook Tampa 2) on a 5 yard out that Palmer should have NEVER thrown. It was as if the CB was the WR.

Either way, you still ignored the main issue with your over rated pass defense and how they fair against teams that are NOT ranked lower than 28 in passing.

And I'm not comparing Troy Smith to Drew Brees, I am comparing our ball spread offense and the receiving statistical spread to what the Saints receivers have.

As for Josh Freeman giving his best guy a chance to catch the ball: keep throwing into Double teams Josh. Your luck will run out.
The Bucs have not beat a single team with a winning record this year. They are not that good and we are definately the more talented team.

Go Niners!
We have the better overall team.

Our achilles heel is making mistake (shooting ourselves in the foot type of mistakes)

If we can limt penalties, turnovers and convert better on 3rd down. There is no doubt we should get a win.

but if we do keep making these mistakes it's going to get ugly.

Exactly, compare our opponents that we've loss to, to the opponents they've beat.

Haven't we not beat a team with a winning record (that had a winning record) at the time we played them? (only team would be the raiders atm)
