Vegas: 49ers Favord by 5.5pts

I'm putting my money on the Rams Until the 49ers show me that they can win I will expect them to lose but I will scream my fricken head off during the game

If we beat the Rams this weekend, I have a strong feeling we'll go 5-1 in the West. And go 8-8 for the season. I just don't see us beating Green Bay and San Diego, shoot Tampa Bay looks iffy.

I can see all that as possible. I can also see it going better, as well as a lot worse.

I say that because the Rams are really the toughest team in the division right now. They're the only ones that are set and winning with just ONE QB. Not to mention their defense has really stepped up, I still think ours is better though. if Troy Smith can build on his play in London, then no one in the West can stop us. But Hmmm, if we win the West, won't we be in the playoffs with an 8-8 record.....dammit that could save Sings job.

I wanna win, but I also just want a new HC. AND, I also hope they keep Troy Smith through next year too.

I have not bet in decades but I wouldn't lay points with the 49ers against the Louisiana Woman's Teacher College.

Point spreads are worked over by the Vegas number crunchers to get people to bet on certain teams. The numbers fluctuate depending on how many bets are placed per team throughout the week.

They always start by giving the home team 3 points and go from there. The goal is for Vegas to make bank and even up the odds in favor of the house.

To start it was 5.5 as of this morning vegas insider .com it’s now 4.5

Monday night game Pittsburgh -5.5 and they won by six, how do they know?

Right now the Giants -10.5 Vegas wants Dallas nation to jump on that and bank some coin when the Giants win by 14 lol

The Niners could theoretically score, say, 24 points, but if they should go out to a 10-0 lead they will shut it down and will end up either losing or winning by a close score.

That is the Sing Factor and I am not sure even Vegas quite knows how to factor that in. So, yes, the Niners are better and should win by 5.5 or whatever, but Sing will see to it that the score is low and so the game will either be lost or closer than it should be.

doesn't surprise me, we have more talent. we just don't put it together on game days

Yeah, that's a couple points higher than I would have thought would be the most possible.
