I don't think the team is practicing this week.
Because, you know, we're sittin' pretty at 2-6 and have a new, unproven starting QB, so, you know, I guess we don't need to take advantage of the extra week to practice.

yopu Have to give the players some time off. Troy and the coaching staff actually stayed back to get more time. But the bye is to rest the body. they are back to work come monday. quit f'n cryin

The bye week not only allows players to rest, but allows the coaches to look at film (which is Singletary's favorite thing to do) and make adjustments on personnel, plays, etc. (which we never do or will).
