In nickle or dime situation, Spencer stay at right corner, Nate Clements moves to the slot, and Will James, the third corner, take over the left corner. The team has not in a single game this season, moves the corners around to match up the opponent's best receiver.

Now you know this staff doesn't want to do that. This way when we are in the nickel we know where the opposing QB is going. The #1 WR versus our #4 DB duh

#3 DB, and he's getting coverage over the top. He's not very good, but it's a bigger problem with our secondary than just James.

That's putting it politely. Nickle/dime defense, Spencer stays at right. James gets left because he's better than our $80 million dollar man.

No idea... funny thing now days you will see a lot of teams change who covers who during the game. It use to be #1 DB goes to #1 WR, etc. Now I see #1, 2 and 3 on #1 and all sorts of pairs. So when you a stat like Lloyd going for 169 people shouldn't assume it was just Nate or just Shawntae. It probably was all of them and Goldson/Mays. Although, the long TD no idea why Spencer passed him off and then covered nobody and then Mays got behind. You will see that more and more in today's game. The communication is horrible. Plus a lot of CBs like to pass WRs off to the safeties who usually get burnt because they aren't expecting it. You remember in grade school where you were like I am tired you get him. Plus many times guys worry about the guy underneath and let the guy over the top (who can hurt you worse) go.
Edit: anybody seen Phillip Adams lately... I'd like to see what he has, maybe move into the #3 spot, make James 4 and Brown 5.

nice insight... come to think of it you are probably right because before the season they said Nate would start playing the slot (I thought they said just when it's a TE though) on 3rd downs or nickel/dime situations.
