Its going to taste so sweet, probably the most fulfilling reward for staying Niner faithful in my entire Niner watching career.

not going to happen. sorry buddy.

That would mean that we would only lose one more game. We still have GB, SD and Sea who whooped us. Pus the Rams twice and they are playing well.

8-8 absolute best scenario but i`d guess 6-10.

San Diego has only won one more game than we have, and Seattle is going to be at OUR house. The Rams have a losing record, and the Packers have shown vulnerability. We haven't lost a Game by more than 3 points since Raye was fired, this team has the ability to run the table the rest of the way. If you guys cant see that, then you've let the disappointment of the first part of the season cloud your judgment.

The Bucs are 4-2 as well. Its not going to happen brother. Also look at the schedule with Raye. It was much tougher then what Johnson has had to go up against. Now we have Troy Smith starting at QB who hasnt started in 3 years.

Sorry bro, I just dont see it!

The only reason I dont think we can is because of our philosophy. No matter who we play, we get too conservative early. Thus, we always leave the door open. Unfortantely, with the exception of the Raiders game the other team was able to close that door on us. So odds are that out of the next 9 games our game management philosophy will come back to bite us.

What part of 1-6 don't you understand? This team has an idiot of a head coach, and no real NFL quarterback on the roster, those kind of teams don't make dramatic turn arounds. Dingletary could take the best team in the league and lose to the worst team in the league, the season is shot, deal with it.

Sorry bro, I just dont see it!

Troy Smith was all set to fight Joe Flacco for the starting position in Baltimore before he got sick. Denver Broncos have no footage to gameplan around him, and our offense is not predicated on timing, just hitting the open receiver. All he has to do is hand the ball off to Gore, hit the open receiver when its needed, and scramble for a few yards whenever the o-line breaks down. WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS GAME! The weather conditions are going to be muddy, favoring us since Denver's offense is timing based. We've BEEN in London for a week, so we're already acclimated to the conditions, and the Niners have more fans in London than Denver does. Once we win this game, Troy Smith has two weeks to acclimate himself to the first team offense, and by then the team will have a new burst of renewed optimism finally being under a MAN (a short man by NFL standards, but a man nonetheless) and a true Leader. They wont be hoping that this 1st round kid finally gets his stuff together.
Since Mike Johnson has taken over, the offense has looked like it could score on every drive. Its simply been dropped balls and inaccurate passes, and occasionally poor run blocking stopping us. Watch what happens Sunday.
What's our record again...?

1-6

It's pretty amazing to think that despite or completely poor game planning and management that we've been in almost every game against good teams. By all accounts we should have been blown out in every game. We waist quarters at a time and yet our games are nail biters. Amazing, I can't wait to see this talent in the hands of a competent coach!

Again, hats off to our amazing players!

Sorry but the players make the plays and no hand is needed for Fumbles, dropped/ tipped balls. False Starts and all the other BS that these same men cant stop themselves from committing. Ill give them a hand when they play like it. When they act as if they want to win. I dont care how bad sing is doing they are getting paid to not make these mistakes!
I agree with your sentiment. All these mistakes by players are frustrating and have killed chances to win games. I would also add in the MANY missed assignments by the defense, particularly the secondary, that DIRECTLY led to two losses, and contributed to another.

However, I also know what it is like for players to have to play and train in a toxic environment such as what builds with Singletary constantly yelling and generally making a fool of himself on the sidelines. That kind of environment leaves players edgy and unfocused much of the time.

I know we can say that players are getting paid a lot of money and should be able to play though all that...and that is true, in a perfect world. The reality is that once the whistle blows they players put money out of their mind and play for pride and to win. I know it doesn't look like it at times but they aren't playing for money. Money is only the way their agents look at things, it is not the motivation for players to hold onto the ball or remember snap counts.

I firmly believe that if MS was eliminated from the picture, this team would relax and begin to eliminate mistakes. As it is, the mistakes are becoming more numerous, not less. 11 penalties in each of the two previous games in not progress. It is a sign of a team that is too tight to play well.

It would be a miracle if it did happen. The ACP would have a collective hissy-fit followed by a coronary embolism.

I had this viewpoint last year, but not this year. I was curious then, but now I'm just tired that this team can't finish games.
