STAT: Offensive Projections

So I did some number crunching to see what our key offensive players are on pace for this season, and this is what I found: Here's the stat-line for Alex Smith, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, Josh Morgan, and Vernon Davis through the first 6 games. Was interested to see what they're on pace for this season. (Through Six Games) QB: Alex Smith 134 Completions, 223 Attempts, 60.1% Completion %, 1425 yards passing, 8 TDs, 9 INTs, 73.9 QB Rating 43 Rushing Yards, 12 Sacks, 3 Fumbles RB: Frank Gore 116 Rushing Attempts, 471 Yards Rushing, 4.1 YPC, 1 Rushing TD 33 Receptions, 284 Receiving Yards, 8.6 Yards/Reception, 2 TDs 4 Fumbles WR: Michael Crabtree 24 Receptions, 301 Yards, 12.5 Yards/Reception, 2 TDs WR: Josh Morgan 18 Receptions, 204 Yards, 11.3 Yards/Reception, 1 TD 1 Fumble TE: Vernon Davis 28 Receptions, 348 Yards, 12.4 Yards/Reception, 3 TDs And here's the projection.... (Projected Over a 16 Game Season) QB: Alex Smith 357 Completions, 594 Attempts, 60.1% Completion %, 3800 yards passing, 21 TDs, 24 INTs, 73.9 QB Rating 114 Rushing Yards, 32 Sacks, 8 Fumbles RB: Frank Gore 309 Rushing Attempts, 1256 Yards Rushing, 4.1 YPC, 2.67 Rushing TD 88 Receptions, 757 Receiving Yards, 8.6 Yards/Reception, 5 TDs 10 Fumbles WR: Michael Crabtree 64 Receptions, 802 Yards, 12.5 Yards/Reception, 5 TDs WR: Josh Morgan 48 Receptions, 544 Yards, 11.3 Yards/Reception, 2.67 TD 2.67 Fumbles TE: Vernon Davis 74 Receptions, 928 Yards, 12.4 Yards/Reception, 8 TDs CONCLUSIONS - Nothing spectacular. Solid production from the core offensive players. We're on pace for 3800 yards passing, 1256 yards rushing, and 2 receivers near 1000 yards. - Of course, the red flags in here include 24+ turnovers from Alex, and 10 fumbles from Gore. - I'm pretty confident in saying that we'll have better numbers than this. Weaker schedule, a young offensive line beginning to gel, Mike Johnson coming into his own as an OC, and HOPEFULLY minimization of offensive turnovers. I wouldn't be surprised if VD and Crabs have 1000 yards apiece. I'm gonna guess Alex's TD/INT Ratio will be a TEENY bit better than 1:1. - Of course, there's a couple other things that could happen. Alex could get benched. Carr could do better... Carr could do worse. ... And (KNOCK ON WOOD) we could always get the injury bug. [ Edited by Wubbie on Oct 22, 2010 at 13:50:38 ]

No, I did it on my own. It's not hard to take stuff from NFL.com and multiply their current stat-line by 16/6.

Though I probably would've saved a good 15-20 minutes of my time if I had found the ESPN links.
