Is It True that They Cut Down on the Alcohol Sales at the Stick ?

Someone posted this in the gameday thread. That they stopped selling beer close to halftime at the Stick yesterday. The fans were riled up, booing Alex and the team.....combined with being stuck with Raider fans..... If thats the case......

yeah they cut sales in the 3rd and you weren't allowed to tailgate after the game...

I live on the East Coast. Is this typical for Candlestick, or were they worried because of the weather / rivalry with Raiders / upset fans ?

I think it was just cause the raiders. People tailgate after other games! Everyone was booing when the announced the no tailgating after the game...LOL

Wow, that sucks! Normally tailgating afterwards alleviates the stress of sitting in traffic. And they normally wait till the end of the 3rd quarter to stop selling drinks.
