That was just a troll-fail. He didn't realize Alex's rating last season was higher then Orton ever had in any year with Chicago. When you mentioned it, he stopped that argument and started another pointless one, lol

lol He said the team is a mess and he's glad he's gone, not that he wishes he was back because he'd be winning games on this team.

Damn, JoeCool can't read english, and is the worst troll in the forum.

You keep calling me a troll yet I haven't said anything back when you were leading the front on trolling about past QBs who were playing as bad or better than our current QB. What a coincidence.

Ugh dude you're missing the point. Smith has the same passer rating as Gradkowski and Campbell and their team's won 2 games. The POINT IS, SHAUN HILL SAID "THIS TEAM" IS A MESS. The point is that he said "HE WOULD NOT WANT TO PLAY UNDER THE ORGANIZATION WE HAVE".

Gradkowski and Campbell only have one game where either of them threw more than 1 INT. Our guy is averaging at least 2 per game. I will take less turnovers over a higher rating accumulated in short spurts and padded stats.

yeah, before yall go bashing Hill thinking he was trying to talk **** about his former team...yall should read the rest

Quote:
Hill completed 21 of 32 passes for 227 yards with three touchdowns in the Lions' 44-6 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. It was the Lions' most decisive victory since 1995.

"I knew coming here (to Detroit) the roles and everything were completely defined and I was fine with that for sure," Hill said. "I had an opportunity to come in and try to help Matthew out a little bit if possible and, when called upon, to go out there and play. But when he's healthy I know that he's the guy.

"Out in San Francisco there was some stuff up in the air the last few years. It seemed always up in the air. So, believe it or not, I kind of welcomed just everybody having their defined roles and positions."

Hill never expressed any discontent last season after he was benched at halftime of a Week 6 game against the Houston Texans. He and Alex Smith remain close friends. Smith said he also appreciates how Carr has handled the sometimes-uncomfortable role as the backup.
LOL

he is basically saying Sing and company were playing mind games...same kind that Takeo and Michael Lewis were complaining about....as well as Jason Hill in the past....I'm sure lots of inconsistent managing. He'd prefer straight talk behind the scenes....even if it meant he would be the back-up for that time being.

just like that whole Nate Clements, Terrell Brown situation where Nate wasn't the "starter" anymore....only for Brown to get burnt left and right....and later for backup CB Nate Clements asked to punt return...only to get injured for the season.

I'm sure Nate Davis, if he is ever claimed by another team this season, will say the same stuff....same with David Carr.... for some reason he thought he would be competing for the starter role, when he first signed...or atleast that is what he said to the media back then...lol

You know you suck when scrubs are calling out your franchise.
If we had Nolan we'd be 2-3. Nolan went 2-1 in '07 with a far worse QB and far less talent. See what I did?

Open you eyes people. Shaun Hill sucks just as bad as Alex Smith.

Point #1
Look at last year. Just watch the ATL game. Tell me after watching the Houston game that you wouldn't have started Alex too. nuff said

Point #2
This year look at the numbers
QB A - 118-190, 1229 yds, 6 tds
QB B - 118-193, 1218 yds, 8 tds
That's nearly identical.

And don't forget people, Shaun Hill just got a W from THE RAMS. Let me repeat myself. THE St. Louis "Weakest team in the NFL" RAMS. Now he thinks he's all that and starts talking s**t? Please, tell it like it is. Hill sucks, Smith sucks. Hill just has ill feelings because of how it all ended here. I bet you those Hill-led Lions would have a 0-5 start with this schedule too. Just watch Hill get shown his spot when Stafford comes back.

I don't think anyone's trying to get pissed at Shaun. He's telling it like it is. Bottom line is he said this team is a mess.

I think you're omitting some things. But yeah neither one are any good. Hill was just stating what everyone on this board says every day about the organization.

I didn't take that at all from his quote. It seems as though he just said the coaches didn't decide on a firm starter. I wonder why he is in a situation where his role is clearly defined?

Maybe it's because Stafford is miles better than him whereas we never had a QB here THAT much better than our backup. We had to acquire a legit trial and fail (Carr) at QB so that we have our firm starter.

You got another thing coming if you think those are the same Rams as last year. St. Louis just owned Washington and Seattle, right now our 0-5 team IS getting owned.

We're not an improved team in terms of talent?

Funny how this team in just two short years went from the bottom of the barrel to all of a sudden have more talented players than the 49er's.

That must mean that Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree, Anthony Dixon, Ted Ginn Jr and Morgan are all BUMS!

Amazing just what one can learn from the WEBZONE! and all the armchair QB's.

Amazing! If Alex was playing better the Zone would think differently about DET overall talent.

No those are the same Rams. Sure they won 2 games but they just got OWNED from a winless team. It's like Alex Smith, he has 2 okay games but he showed us he's just the same ol' Alex.
