A silver lining: This trainwreck is damned entertaining

I'm going to catch hell for it, but it needs to be said... Noone can call this team boring any more!

It's been a rough decade to be a Niner fan. 03, 04, 05, 07, parts of 08, and a significant chunk of 09 were the most boring years of Niner football I have ever seen in my life. The product on the field was boring, the press coverage was boring, the team was boring.

I highly recommend embracing the dysfunctional mess that is the 2010 49ers. Every week we've got something new: communication issues, fired offensive coordinators, players quitting, embarrassing guarantees from the owner, daggum awesome media meltdowns, and new ways each and every week to steal a loss from the jaws of victory. Evey week week these guys find a new way to turn the ball over. It is epic as hell! And as a bonus, my alcohol consumption has really skyrocketed the last month and a half!!

I love the train wreck that is this 49er season. Let out your inner masochist. I can't wait to find out what disaster awaits tomorrow. Next year Singletary will be gone, Smith will be gone, and we can start what surely will be another rebuilding cycle that will never deliver the goods. In the meantime, laugh this one off, it is truly an awesomely terrible season. I can't wait to find out how they are going to blow the Raiders game. My money is on a dropped lateral pass, they haven't done that yet!

At this point I don't worry much about this season anymore. I know it is done. I do get a few laughs from the Yorks and Dingleberry. They are excellent comic relief. And I hope we get a real high draft pick. I hope some elite players enter the draft. Because we do have the work stoppage.

I agree also--it is an exciting soap opera with new ways to self destruct every week--what do they have planned this Sunday.

f**k that, people I know who know I'm a niner fan and I have to put up with how dissapointing my team is and admit that they suck. f**k THAT.

its not entertaining to see this team train wreck. this is embarrassing to us and should be to them but the higher ups dont give a s**t because theyre still making their money. people need to stop going to games and stop buying niner stuff to let them know we dont appreciate this s**t. Singletary has been a f**king disaster for this team this year. be it his retarded "offensive philosophy with an F" or his yelling at players on the sideline or his retarded game management issues or his retarded problems that only he seems to have. tell me how a coach who isnt good at X's and O's and game management or game planning or anything is in charge of an NFL team? what can he do??? the niners are a good team in the hands of a completely inept head coach who insists on putting his stamp on everything. problem is his idea of football is dead and gone and he's trying to bring it back. all these circus acts goin on around our team are the fault of owners who dont give a s**t. put someone in charge who knows what theyre doing and have him hire the next coach after singletary succeeds in making us the laughingstock of the nfl. simple as that. youll see how good this same team is next year once this douchebag is gone. UGH!!!!!!! f**k YOU OAKLAND RAIDERS, YOUR GONNA GET DESTROYED THIS WEEK!!!!!!!! players need to just start ignoring sing. alex shouldnt wear the headset and call his own plays, manusky should tell singletary the hot dog guy isnt selling ball park franks so he can go yell at him and leave the defense alone and the special team guy should tell sing that he's gonna put all ILBs on special teams so we can be special with an F because sing obviously isnt paying attention on sundays anyway.

It is very entertaining and you can never predict whats gonna happen or what crazy mind blowing way we beat ourselves. Its something new and exciting every time. Fumbling game clinching ints, fumbling the ball that gets scooped up for a TD by the defense. When I watch us play its like watching Madden, we lose in the most video game like ways. It does make for good entertainment though, I cant wait to see what creative ways we come with to beat ourselves this Sunday.. Pick 6 for game??? We are due for one of those

To real fans it is not entertaining at all...especially after 8 years.
