it happens only under 2 circumstances. Singletary gets fired or we start winning. Look or the first one to happen first.

The question posed here takes you right back to the Yorks. They stumble along until it becomes abundantly clear to even the most dense that they had hired a mistake. So they fire him in the middle of the season, and make the same identical hiring mistake all over again. In the most recent example, it was hiring Singletary. Not only had he never been a HC before ( like Nolan), he had no track record even as a DC. Now, after two years, it is again becoming abundantly clear to even the most dense that he is outmatched as a strategist, game planner, etc. The cycle continues. This is insanity.

Well the thing you have to understand is that, (based on you're title) Sing cannot control whether we fumble or not. Sing cannot control whether Alex overthrows someone or not. He cannot control Anthony Davis when he gets called for penalties. All Sing can do to prevent these situations is to tell the players to not make dumb mistakes. He can't go onto the field and remind them right before the play... These are just bonehead mistakes that the players have to take accountability for. Alex for his fumble, Gore for his fumble, Nedney for his missed kick, one of our LB's that got shook by Kolb , and etc... Many people seem to blame stuff like this on Sing, which is a If there is something people want to blame Singletary for, it would be the conservative play calling. As we've seen for the past 2 games, we've had a much better improvement in play calling as compared to Jimmy calling plays, but we still are relying on Gore to get something big on 1st down. I wonder how many times it takes for a stuffed run on 1st and 2nd down for Sing to realize that it's not gonna work... People say his coaching skill is motivation, to get our guys pumped and play smash mouth football. It's also said he doesn't know the X's and O's of football which do not qualify him to be a HC. I personally believe that both are true, but I also think that we can still be successful with him only if, we don't shoot ourselves in the foot and come out and play aggressive. Then we will have a successful season until then, more losses = more "Fire Singletary!!"

After retiring from the Bears in 1992, he was out of football for 11 years before becoming an assistant coach

A lot changes in 11 years. I can almost guarantee you that whatever he was doing during those 11 years it was not football related. Never learned enough.

Whatever he did worked on Vernon and Alex.

Too bad he has no idea what to do until it's too late.

Looks like Lettermen was not to far off on his coach Sing impostor.
